Generative Engine Optimisation for LLM
Is your website losing traffic to ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude and other AI tools — even though your Google rankings are holding up? Then you’ve come to the right place.
AI search has changed how people find and choose businesses. Instead of clicking through to websites, more users are getting answers directly from AI assistants — and if your brand isn’t being cited as a source, you’re missing out on a growing share of your audience.
At Clarus Digital, we treat AI SEO as part of every campaign we run. But for businesses who are already performing well on Google and want to specifically target their AI visibility, this is a dedicated package built around that goal.
We audit how AI systems currently perceive and reference your brand, identify the gaps, and implement a strategy to get you cited, recommended, and referenced — so your business shows up wherever your customers are searching, not just in traditional results.
Release your website’s potential with our AI SEO (GEO) campaigns, delivered by one of our Experts.
Clarus Digital has built its reputation delivering SEO strategies that drive qualified organic traffic, enquiries, and revenue. Our AI SEO campaigns include everything from our standard SEO service — because strong traditional SEO remains the foundation of AI visibility — with additional focus on the specific tactics that get your brand cited, referenced, and recommended by AI search tools.
AI visibility is built on the same foundation as great SEO: genuine authority, relevant content, and a technically sound website. At Clarus Digital, we’ve been delivering exactly that for our clients long before AI search arrived, which means your business is already primed to perform in this new landscape.

I’ve used Mark for SEO and really enjoyed working with him. He’s easy to deal with, clearly knows his stuff, and takes a sensible, strategic approach rather than just chasing quick wins. Everything felt well thought through and straightforward, and the overall experience was very positive. I’d happily recommend him to anyone looking for SEO support.
AI has reconfigured the digital decision journey by giving users more context before they ever reach a website. Our role is to ensure your brand still surfaces at the moments that matter and that the traffic you earn converts at a higher strategic value. This calls for content architectures and authority signals that AI driven discovery engines naturally elevate.
AI now acts as an information filter long before someone reaches your website. Users often receive condensed answers in search results which means they arrive on your site with clearer intent. This changes the shape of traffic but increases the value of each visit when your brand is properly aligned to these new discovery patterns.
Yes because businesses with clear authority signals structured content and consistent expertise are the ones AI systems lean on when generating answers. If your content becomes a trusted source you gain visibility even when the user journey looks different from previous years.
AI tools reward clarity accuracy and depth. Thin pages that once ranked through links or keyword density now struggle to gain traction. Strong content now performs double duty by serving human readers and feeding AI systems with signals that confirm your brand knows what it is talking about.
It focuses on building authority that machines can recognise. This covers structured data content architecture, entity clarity, internal coherence and evidence of real expertise. When these elements are in place, AI can understand your business and represent it accurately to users.
The opposite is more likely. AI relies on high-quality websites to produce its summaries and recommendations. If your brand is not positioned in that ecosystem, you risk disappearing from both human and machine-driven discovery. SEO is now the foundation that supports visibility across both.
Success now leans towards higher intent fewer wasted visits and stronger conversions. Instead of chasing raw traffic we focus on building authority so that the users who reach you are already informed and ready to take action.
Absolutely. When your site is built with clear structure and depth AI driven systems often elevate your content because it provides dependable reference material. That creates additional visibility even in environments where fewer users click on traditional search listings.
AI SEO (also known as Generative Engine Optimisation or GEO) is the practice of optimising your website and online presence so that AI-powered tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews cite, reference, and recommend your business. While traditional SEO focuses on ranking in search results, AI SEO focuses on becoming the trusted source that AI systems draw from when answering your customers’ questions.
Yes, and the good news is they’re deeply connected. The same factors that help you rank on Google — authority, relevant content, technical health, and quality backlinks — are what AI systems use to decide which sources to trust. Strong traditional SEO is the foundation of strong AI visibility, which is why our AI SEO campaigns include both.
AI SEO measurement is still evolving, but we track a combination of brand mention frequency across AI tools, referral traffic from AI platforms, traditional ranking and traffic performance, and share of voice in your sector. We report on all of these transparently so you can see exactly what’s improving.
With over 200 ‘signals’ measured by Google, the timings wil depend on finding the exact mix that works for your website. Generally, we see positive results within the first few months of a long-term campaign.
SEO improves the authourity of your domain (DA) as well as improving your chances of being ranked for a search term. The higher your DA and the technical standards of your website, the higher up you appear in the search results. Page1 appearances improve your traffic levels by up to 90% and top positions can mean that you get around a third of all clicks for a search term. This is why SEO is ranked as the top priority by Digital Marketing Managers EVERY year.
SEO will generally deliver a better ROI than PPC simply as there are no ad fees. Whilst PPC is frequently used on a seasonal and campaign basis, SEO is a long-term strategy that will deliver excellent results once top rankings are achieved. Generally, a mix of the two will yield the best results, but every business and market is different.
We only limit the number of keywords in our most budget-friendly package which is aimed at start-ups. For a proper, long-term campaign to work, we will need to address all the relevant search terms that drive relevant and converting traffic to your website.
Our packages, shown on this page, are priced across price points to suit the majority of business across the UK. We recommend our top package for all established businesses who need growth and our mid-package for SMEs on a budget. For start-ups who may wish to do much of their own work and need some advice and help with measurement we have a basic package option. Agencies like us exist as without a very large budget, you can’t be expected to retain sufficiently skilled in-house SEO expertise.
At the start of a campaign you will hear from us a lot. During the ongoing SEO campaign, we will be in touch as and when the activity requires it and we have something to share or require approval. This is generally a few times each month. On top of this, you will receive our progress and summary report in the early part of each month as a month closes.
At the start of every new customer relationship we will provide you with a document detailing everything that we will need access to and the relevant details that you should use. Amongst these are access to your Google Analytics account, CMS (if permitted) and all other relevant accounts that you may or may not have in place. In addition to these access considerations, we will also need to know who your competitors are and which keywords are important to you. It’s worth noting that we will also do our own research and it is not uncommon to establish that your competitors are not always who you think they are and neither are many of your keywords.
Whilst we will definitely improve your initial situation, the Google algorithm is ever changing and evolving. In short, ANY agency guaranteeing you results are misleading you to win your business. There are some factors outside of our control including the age of your domain, competitor activity and the correct mix of the 200+ elements that affect SEO may be alluding at times. In addition, whilst we will check for them, any historical ‘black-hat’ techniques used on your domain in the past could have attracted a Google penalty which will need addressing before we can see any real results. Clarus Digital always use ethical, white-hat SEO tactics for good, long-term results. We do not seek short-term, unsustainable gains.
The team at Clarus Digital are very experienced at SEO with years of proven success acrioss many sectors. With our transparent reporting and industry leading tools, we go from strength to strength.
The benefits of SEO are long-lasting, especially when compared to other areas of marketing such as paid ads or social media. The cost to benefit ratio for SEO is so much better compared to all other areas of marketing that the majority of businesses will maintain an SEO campaign on an ongoing basis.
Clarus Digital work across a wide-range of business types and sectors. From one-man consultancies to established bricks and mortar retail and commercial businesses and online retailers. We work in the NFP, B2B and B2C sectors. Regardless of the sector, the methodologies remain the same, so we are certain that we can help anyone.
